Gucci is adding new unisex timepieces to its distinctive Le Marché des Merveilles collection. The line uses animalier motifs and bright colors as key design elements, both the dial and strap of each watch are crafted from the same material: pastel cobalt, pastel green, or pink leather.
The Kingsnake, a signature motif of the House, wraps around the strap and continues onto the dial. The bee, another recurring code, is also present as an index at 12 o’clock.

Other notable details include the studded bezel, the bee engraving on the 38mm steel case back, and the second hand with the interlocking G motif.
The new pieces inject an extra dose of color into the Le Marché des Merveilles timepiece collection, which already includes a black version of this watch.

The watches are water resistant to 50m and feature a quartz movement.

The new additions include two 27mm variants. One shines in pure silver tones with a steel case, silver dial with a silver feline head, and steel bracelet. Offering a mixed metal look, the other combines a steel case and silver dial with a yellow gold feline head and steel and yellow gold PVD bracelet.

Two 38mm editions also display the feline head on a silver dial. One showcases a steel case and bracelet, while the other incorporates yellow gold PVD into the strap, with touches of yellow gold on the dial too.
Two further 38mm variants inject a vibrant dose of color into the collection, with the snake motif in red, black, and white on a silver dial. A steel case and a steel or steel and yellow gold PVD bracelet finish these new designs.

Each timepiece features sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating inside and is water resistant to 50 meters.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., July 23, 2018 – The USTA today announced that Rolex has become an official sponsor of the US Open and will serve as the tournament’s Official Timekeeper and Official Timepiece. The new multi-year agreement begins immediately with preparations for the 2018 US Open.

During the US Open, Rolex timepieces and clocks will be seen throughout the grounds of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, representing a partnership forged through a shared commitment to tennis excellence. The signature clock affixed to the outer façade of Arthur Ashe Stadium will now be the iconic Rolex display.
